EMERGENCY STRATEGY MANIPULATORS FOR VIN NUMBERS MARKING

Manipulators are not used continuously, they serve as an emergency strategy for the automatic marking machine. In the event of a failure of the automatic marking, it is therefore possible to use these manipulators to ensure the marking of the VIN number on the KB line. Manipulators are not automatic, they are operated by production workers.

The SIEMENS TP700Comfort control panel is located on the Q8 manipulator. You can use this panel to control the device. The environment is created in the SIEMENS SIMATIC TIA Portal V15 application.

The PRG4 <-> FIS application is running on the operation panel on the main switchboard, which ensures communication between the device for emergency marking of VIN numbers Q8, Q7 and VW Touareg and the FIS database.

At the end of the cycle is the main switchboard + E, which is common to both manipulators. There is also a main control panel on it. At the end of the cycle, there are limit switches which, in the event of switching on, trigger a warning sound and light signal and stop the line, thus preventing damage to the technology. The limit switches are connected directly to the conveyor technology.
